AWM 1569, PVC Insulated Single Conductor Appliance Wiring Material, 105°C

UL AWM Style 1569 is the same thin wall idea as 1007, raised to 105°C and stretched from 30 AWG all the way to 2 AWG. The wall stays at 15 mils minimum average and 13 mils minimum at any point from 30 AWG down to 10 AWG, then doubles to 30 mils and 27 mils for 9 AWG to 2 AWG, which is why the larger sizes still stay compact. Rating is 300 Vac with horizontal flame, and UL allows 80°C, 90°C or 105°C on the same construction. Typical use is internal wiring of appliances and electronic equipment where the wire is not subject to movement or mechanical damage. This is the type to pick when a transformer or a motor lead runs hot but the run is fixed: 1007 stops at 80°C, 1569 keeps going to 105°C. Optional extruded PVC covering of 9 mils is permitted for mechanical protection, and conductors are bare or tinned copper to UL 758.
