We supply the full UL/cUL PVC flexible cord range: SPT-1, SPT-2 and SPT-3 flat parallel cords, NISPT parallel cords with grounding conductor, SVT light-duty vacuum-type cord, SJT/SJTW/SJTO/SJTOOW hard-service cords and ST/STW/STOOW extra-hard-service cords. They cover 300 V and 600 V ratings with temperature grades from 60°C to 105°C in 18-10 AWG sizes.

Under UL cord nomenclature, SPT is service parallel thermoplastic flat cord, SVT is service vacuum-type thermoplastic (light 300 V duty), SJT is service junior thermoplastic (hard usage, 300 V) and ST is service thermoplastic (extra-hard usage, 600 V). Suffixes add properties: W for outdoor/weather resistance, O for oil-resistant insulation, OO for oil-resistant insulation and jacket, and -R for a grounded parallel version.

Use SPT-1/SPT-2 for lamps, clocks and small indoor appliances, SVT for light-duty devices such as vacuum cleaners and small appliances, SJT/SJTW for computers, office equipment, workshop tools and moderate industrial use, and ST/STW for heavy industrial and outdoor equipment. Match the cord's current, AWG size, temperature grade and W (weather) rating to the device and environment.

UL PVC flexible cords are offered in 60°C, 75°C, 90°C and 105°C temperature grades and conductor sizes commonly from 18 AWG to 10 AWG, in 2- and 3-conductor (and multi-conductor) versions. Higher temperature grades and heavier AWG are selected for heat-generating appliances and higher-current loads to keep the jacket and insulation within rating.
