China Power Cords is the export brand of Yuyao ChengBang Electronics, a power cord factory in Simen Town, Yuyao, Ningbo. Since 2004 we have built UL, cUL, VDE, TUV, SAA, PSE, KC and BS certified cords for distributors, brands and industrial buyers in 50+ countries. Plug, cable spec and certification for each market are produced under one roof, so buyers selling into several countries can stay with one supplier.
How the factory grew from 2004 to 50+ export markets
Yuyao ChengBang Electronics was founded in 2004. Around us most factories built cords to one national standard well, and buyers selling into several countries had to manage several suppliers. We set the company up to hold UL, cUL, VDE, SAA and PSE approvals on the same product range, so that one order can cover several markets.
The factory opened in Simen Town, Yuyao, near Ningbo, with 3 production lines and a team of 20. It has stayed on that site since: samples, test reports and certificate copies are all issued from there.
Today we supply distributors, brands and industrial buyers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia. Every cord that leaves the factory is built and tested to the safety standard of the market it ships to.

UL, cUL, ETL, VDE, TUV, SAA, PSE, KC, BS, IMQ and CE approvals are held for cords built in this facility. A buyer selling into several markets can keep one supplier and one set of test reports.

A recorded inspection process, stage by stage, for every shipment
Copper conductors, PVC/rubber compounds and plug components are checked against specification on arrival, with RoHS, REACH and PAHs material verification before they enter production.
Operators and QC engineers monitor wire stranding, insulation extrusion, plug overmolding and assembly at set intervals to catch deviations before they reach the next stage.
Every finished cord passes hipot (dielectric withstand), continuity and polarity testing at our electrical safety stations before it is approved for packing.
Final AQL sampling covers dimensions, appearance, marking and packaging. Each production batch is recorded for full traceability, and third-party certificates are available on request.
