They are built to KS C 8305 (KSC 8305) and use the 2-pin Type C Europlug and the grounded Type F / Schuko-style plug with round pins and side earth contacts. Both straight and angled versions are supplied.
South Korea uses 220V at 60Hz. The cords are rated 250V AC at 2.5A for the Europlug and up to 16A for the grounded KS C 8305 plug.
Yes. Electrical cords sold in Korea require KC (Korea Certification) marking under the Electrical Appliances and Household Goods Safety Management Act, issued through bodies such as KTL or KETI.
Korea's grounded plug is based on the CEE 7 Schuko geometry, so European Type C and F plugs physically fit Korean sockets, but a cord sold in Korea must still carry KC certification to KS C 8305; VDE alone is not sufficient.
