This is a mains cord set with a moulded BS 1363 Molding, Type G plug rated 3A,5A,7A,10A,13A 250V, a 3-core earthed cord with protective earth. The free (equipment) end is supplied with the outer jacket removed and the conductors stripped and prepared for direct wiring into the appliance, terminal block or strain-relief clamp. It is approved to ASTA for the UK and Ireland.

The finished cord set is certified to ASTA for the UK and Ireland, so it matches the mandatory plug and safety approval used on that market; test reports and the certificate are available on request. The cable uses RoHS/REACH/PAHS-compliant materials.
