Inline surge protection in the adapter body, so the pedestal joint is protected without a separate device on the cord.

This is the second of the three 30 amp RV surge protector adapters we build on this circuit, and it uses the B housing. Electrically it is the same part as the A shell: NEMA TT-30P plug on one side, NEMA TT-30R receptacle on the other, 30A 125V, UL 817 with UL and cULus listing.
Buyers who order in volume usually pick a shell first and then hold it. If you have been shipping the B body, it stays available; if you want to change shells, the internal parts do not change with it.
Use it the way you would use any 30 amp RV adapter: pedestal receptacle to trailer cord, inline, no rewiring. Because the housing is the only difference from the A and C shells, the choice is normally made on the shape that fits your pedestal box, your trailer inlet, or your retail packaging.
Check the pedestal wiring before the first hookup of the season: reverse polarity and open ground at park pedestals are common enough that a plug-in tester earns its keep. The adapter passes through whatever the pedestal gives it.
Private label orders are quoted against the shell you pick. Send the model code, the shell letter and your packing requirements.
Common questions about NEMA TT-30P to NEMA TT-30R RV surge adapters
The housing, and nothing else. All three are 30A 125V, NEMA TT-30P to NEMA TT-30R, UL 817 with UL and cULus listing. Orders are placed against a shell letter because of how the adapter sits at the pedestal or packs in the box.
No. A 50 amp coach cord needs a NEMA 14-50R socket, so the part for that job is the 30 amp to 50 amp adapter. The B shell takes 30 amp trailer cords only.
Yes. The shells are separate items and are kept in the range for customers who have been buying one of them. If you switch shells, the internal parts, the ratings and the certification do not change.
200 to 1000 pieces depending on the build, with 15 to 20 working days after the order and artwork are confirmed. Samples can be sent before the production run so the shell can be checked at the pedestal.
