The inlet or the receptacle is factory fitted to the enclosure, so the installer only brings the feeder to the terminals inside. Cover, gasket and plugged cable entries are supplied with the box.

A 50 amp outlet box is what a big fifth wheel or a motorhome needs at its parking spot: a NEMA 14-50R receptacle for the coach cord, and a 5-20R duplex for everything that used to run off an extension lead.
The 14-50R is a four-wire 125/250V device, so both legs of the supply reach the coach and its 240V appliances work as they do at a 50 amp campsite. The same receptacle is standard on EV charging points, which is why these boxes are sold to both markets.
Storage yards and driveways for 50 amp coaches, campground pads being upgraded from 30 amp, EV charging points at homes and shops, and food or equipment trailers with a 14-50 inlet.
Size the conductors for 50 amp and supply the box from a double-pole breaker. The 5-20R receptacles need GFCI protection outdoors, and they share the box with a 50 amp circuit, so keep the two circuits separate back at the panel.
Check the cord end for wear before each season. A four-wire RV cord that has been dragged over gravel is the usual reason a 14-50R gets hot at the blades.
ETL listed. Samples are available, production runs start at 200 to 1000 pieces with 15 to 20 working days after the order and artwork are confirmed, and private label covers the enclosure label and the packing.
Common questions about 50 Amp RV Power Outlet Box, NEMA 14-50R and 5-20R Duplex
A 50 amp RV cord, a 50 amp EV charging lead or any four-wire 125/250V load using the 14-50 plug. The 5-20R duplex beside it takes ordinary 120V plugs.
Yes. The 14-50R is a 125/250V four-wire device, so the supply is a double-pole breaker feeding both legs. This plain version has the breaker at the panel; the breaker version of the same box carries it in the enclosure.
The 14-50R is the receptacle used by many portable EV charging leads, so the box can serve as a home charging point. Keep the 5-20R on its own protected circuit and let the charging load sit alone on the 14-50R.
Conductors sized for 50 amp on the circuit, with the run length and installation method taken into account, protected by a 50 amp double-pole breaker. Send the conductor size you plan to use and we will confirm the terminal range on the box.
Yes. The enclosure is built for outdoor mounting with a cover that closes over the plugged cord. The receptacle circuits still need the protection the local code requires, which normally means GFCI for the 15 and 20 amp outlets.
