The inlet or the receptacle is factory fitted to the enclosure, so the installer only brings the feeder to the terminals inside. Cover, gasket and plugged cable entries are supplied with the box.

This box carries its own NEMA 14-50R receptacle and a 50 amp double-pole breaker in the same enclosure. Power comes in on a feeder, the breaker protects the receptacle and the cord, and the cover takes a padlock so the outlet can be left live without being usable by anyone who walks up to it.
It is the version to order where the outlet sits a long way from the panel, or where the panel cannot take another 50 amp branch: the box becomes the point of protection as well as the point of connection.
RV pads and storage lots that share a supply, farms and yards with an outbuilding feed, EV charging points at shops and holiday lets, and any site where the outlet has to be switchable and lockable at the post.
The breaker in the box protects the run from the box to the load; it does not replace protection at the supply end. Keep the feeder on its own breaker at the panel, and confirm that the breaker fitted matches the conductors used on the load side.
Close the cover over the cord and lock it when the outlet is not in use. The hasp also holds the cover shut in wind, which is what keeps the gasket doing its job.
ETL listed. Samples are available, production runs start at 200 to 1000 pieces with 15 to 20 working days after the order and artwork are confirmed, and private label covers the enclosure label and the packing.
Common questions about 50 Amp RV Power Outlet Box with Breaker, NEMA 14-50R
The circuit from the box to the load, and the cord that plugs into it. It is the point of protection for the outlet rather than a replacement for the protection at the supply end, which should stay on its own breaker at the panel.
A double-pole 50 amp breaker matched to the 14-50R receptacle, with the switch on the front of the enclosure. Confirm the rating you need when ordering if the local rule for the installation differs.
Yes. The cover has a hasp that takes a padlock and closes over the plugged-in cord, so the outlet can be left connected while it is out of use. The same hasp holds the cover shut in wind, which keeps the gasket working.
Not at the same time on a single 50 amp circuit. Decide which load owns the outlet, or fit a second box on its own circuit, because both loads together exceed what a 50 amp feeder will carry.
The breaker in the enclosure gives you a switch at the outlet, which is usually what a remote post is asked for. Whether an additional disconnect is required depends on the installation and the local rules.
